What paper is best for brochures?

100# gloss text is the most popular for photos and color. 100# matte is easy to write on and has no glare. 70# uncoated is natural and writable.

Brochures printed in Logan, Utah by Watkins Printing. Choose 8.5" x 11" or 11" x 17", your fold and your paper, and we print, fold and box them for pickup or local delivery. Every file is checked by a person before it prints, so your panels line up and your brochures fold right.

Sizes, Folds and Paper

8.5" x 11": flat, half fold (to 5.5" x 8.5"), tri-fold / letter fold (to 3.67" x 8.5") or Z-fold.
11" x 17": flat, half fold (to 8.5" x 11"), tri-fold or Z-fold.
Paper: 100# Gloss Text (bright, vivid photos), 100# Matte Text (smooth, no glare, easy to write on) or 70# Uncoated Text (natural and writable).
Quantities: 25, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 500, 1,000 or 2,500.

File Setup – Will My Brochure Fold Correctly?

Folded brochures need panels of slightly different widths so the inside panel tucks in cleanly. Most files we receive aren't set up that way.
Print-ready: choose this if your file is a PDF at full flat size with 1/8" bleed and panels sized for the fold. We still check it and call you if it won't fold right.
Set up my file to fold ($25 per order): we resize the panels, add bleed and line up the folds, then send you a proof.
Design my brochure: send us your text, logo and photos and we'll quote the design before we start.
Keep text and logos at least 1/8" from the trim and from each fold.

Turnaround: 3–5 Business Days (500 and up: 6–8)

Business days are Monday through Friday, not including holidays. Turnaround can run longer during the holidays.

We email you a PDF proof to approve before anything prints.
Worried about color? Add a printed proof. Screens are brighter than ink on paper.
A walk-in proof is ready in Logan in 1–2 business days. A mailed proof takes 3–5 business days.

Pickup and Delivery

Pick up free at our Logan store, 110 W 1200 S.
Local delivery in northern Utah and southeast Idaho (free on orders of $150 or more in Cache County and $250 or more on our other routes), or we ship anywhere.
