Custom Booklet & Program Printing in Logan, Utah

Print programs, newsletters, event and church programs, manuals, workbooks, catalogs and more. Every booklet is printed, folded and stapled in our Logan shop, and every order over 25 gets a printed proof before we run it.

How to order

1. Size & Printing: pick 8.5" x 11" or 5.5" x 8.5", then full color, black & white, or a color cover with black & white inside pages.
2. Inside Paper: see the paper guide below.
3. Number of Pages: count every side, including the front and back covers (see below).
4. Cover: same paper as the inside, a cardstock cover, or an Astrobrights color cover.
5. Binding: saddle stitch or square back.
6. Upload your PDF and check out. We'll check your file before printing.

How to count pages

Booklets are made from sheets folded in half, so one folded sheet = 4 pages, and page counts always come in multiples of 4 (8, 12, 16 ... 60).

• Count every side, including the front cover, inside front cover, inside back cover and back cover.
• Example: a front cover, 10 inside pages and a back cover (with the inside covers blank) is 14 sides, so choose 16 pages. We'll add the 2 blank pages for you, or you can place them where you want them in your file.
• Choosing a cardstock or Astrobrights cover? The cover is still 4 of your pages (front, inside front, inside back, back).

Paper guide

• 20# Text: everyday copy paper. Best for black & white and light color. Our lowest price.
• 60# Text: a heavier, premium uncoated paper. Less show-through, writes well. Our most popular choice and the best pick for full color.
• 80# Gloss Text: smooth and shiny. Best for photos and bright color.

Cover guide

• Self cover: the cover is printed on the same paper as the inside pages.
• 80# Cover: a light cardstock, in gloss or smooth uncoated.
• 100# Cover: a heavier cardstock, in gloss or smooth uncoated.
• 65# Astrobrights: a bright colored cardstock. See the color chart below.

Colors on screen are approximate; ask to see a printed swatch book in the store. Large quantities in some Astrobrights colors can add 3-4 business days while we get the paper.

Binding

• Saddle stitch: stapled on the fold. The classic program and booklet finish.
• Square back: still stapled, but the spine is pressed flat and square, so the booklet lies flatter and stacks neatly.

Printed proofs & turnaround

• Orders over 25 copies include a printed proof (it's built into the price). Printing starts once you approve it, which adds 1-2 business days.
• Orders of 10 or 25 can add a printed proof for $13.60.
• 10-500 copies: 3-4 business days after proof approval.
• 1,000-2,000 copies: 5-10 business days after proof approval.

Frequently asked questions

What file should I upload?
A PDF with your pages in reading order, one page per page (not printer spreads), at your finished size (8.5" x 11" or 5.5" x 8.5"). If color goes to the edge, add 1/8" bleed on each side and keep text 1/4" inside the trim.

My page count isn't a multiple of 4. What happens?
Choose the next size up and we'll add blank pages at the end, or contact us and we'll help you place them.

Do I have to get a proof?
Orders over 25 copies always get a printed proof, because these are larger orders and we want them right. It's included in the price.

Can I pick up my order?
Yes. Pick up at our Logan shop, or choose delivery or shipping at checkout.

Which paper should I choose for full color?
60# Text or 80# Gloss Text. 20# copy paper works for light color, but heavy color can show through.
