How to order
- Size: pick a roll label size and shape, or an 8.5" x 11" or 11" x 17" sticker sheet.
- Quantity: choose how many you need.
- Material: white paper, white or clear BOPP, outdoor vinyl, silver metallic or a textured estate paper.
- Finish: add a gloss or matte laminate if you like.
- Artwork: upload your file or design it online, then check out.
Frequently asked questions
What sizes and shapes can I order?
Roll labels come in squares from 1/2" to 5", rectangles (2" x 3", 2" x 4" and 2.625" x 1" mailing labels) and circles from 1" to 3". Sticker sheets come in 8.5" x 11" and 11" x 17". Need a custom size or shape? Email jobs@printwatkins.com for a quote.
What is the difference between roll labels and sticker sheets?
Roll labels are cut to shape and wound on a roll, so they are quick to peel and apply. They are the best choice for products, packaging, jars, bottles and mailing. Sticker sheets are printed on full flat sheets, which works well for larger stickers or several designs on one sheet.
Which label material should I choose?
White paper is our everyday label and is easy to write on. White or clear BOPP is a durable film that holds up to water and handling for indoor products. White outdoor vinyl and silver metallic outdoor BOPP are made for outdoor use. Textured estate papers (white laid, cream laid and white vellum) give a premium look for gourmet, wine and gift labels. Add a gloss or matte laminate for extra protection.
How should I set up my file?
Upload a high-resolution file (300 dpi) at your label size plus 1/8" bleed on every side, and keep text and logos at least 1/8" inside the edge. You can also design your label online for free. For metallic stock, choose which parts of your design should be metallic when you order.
How long does it take?
We send your proof within 1 business day of your order. Once you approve it, your labels are ready in 3-5 business days. Shipping can add up to 7 business days.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes. Pick up at our Logan, Utah shop, or choose delivery or shipping at checkout.

Create or Log In to Your Online Account
- Without an account there is nowhere to save your designs and images.
Online Designer Saving Process
- After you have completed your design, click the "Continue" button in the upper right corner.
- Name your file and choose your specifications, click the "I agree to Terms of Use" box, then choose "Save Design and Continue," "Save Design and View Matching Templates," or "Save Design and Checkout" at the bottom.
- If this saving process is not completed, your design will be lost.
- Designs will be stored for 1 year.
Designing on the Website
- Creating your own design on the website is free. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to call us at 435-752-5235.
Understanding Bleed
- The industry standard for bleed is .125" around all four sides outside of the actual size. The safe margin is .125" around all four sides inside of the actual size. This ensures that everything important is not cut off and that color goes all the way to the edge of the paper. This principle applies to all of our printed products.

Turnaround is 3-5 Business Days after Proof Approval
- From the time of order submission, it will take 1 business day to complete your proof. Once the proof has been approved, it will take 3-5 business days until your order is ready for pick up. If your order is being shipped, it can take up to 7 more business days to receive your order.
- Business days are Monday through Friday. If a holiday falls on a business day, that day is not included in the turnaround time.
- On Fridays, our machines are shut down early for end-of-week cleaning.
Understanding Proofing
- If ordering more than one product, you only need choose a proof from one of them, and it will cover the entire order. We will provide a proof for all products ordered if one proof is chosen.
- We strongly suggest viewing a hard copy proof, especially if you are worried about color. Colors on your monitor may not be representative of the printed product. The monitor uses a resolution of 72 dpi and is RGB based, while printing uses 300 dpi and is CMYK based. The colors on the monitor are brighter than they will appear when they print. To see true color representation, you will need to see a printed hard copy proof.
- Proofing adds to turnaround time based on whether you order a walk-in or mailed proof.
- If you request a proof, we must receive your approval (in person, by phone, or email) to complete the printing process.
- If you need to make changes to your order and require another hard copy proof, another business day will be added to your time frame, and you will be charged accordingly with the balance payment due at order pick up.
- If you do not request a hard copy proof, placement of your order gives us permission to print without going through our proofing department. Watkins Printing will not be responsible for reprints if you are dissatisfied with your order and you did not request a hard copy proof.
- Mailed proofs are sent using United States Postal Service (USPS) First Class Mail.
